My 1 year old chihuahua loves one particular toy which she will hold in her mouth, sit on my lap (or floor) and then use her front paws as if she she were gently digging. Could this be a way to release tension or energy?|||My Chi is 3yrs old and when I lie down on my side, she loves to lay down behind me and does that kneading thing on my back. I also feel her licking my shirt. She seems so content. I thought that maybe it reminds her of being close to her mom and siblings. |||There is probably an intersting smell in that particular toy. My chihuahua does that when she smells something interesting or good. She is just trying to find out what smells. Don't worry it is normal in all dogs actually.
