Whats a fun toy I can make for my 7 to 8 week German Shepherd puppy?

It has to be small enough for my puppy to chew on. Hes teething and so he needs to chew on something. He is keep on biting me and i want him to stop, so I want to make a toy for him to chew on instead of biting me. Also, is there a way to let him stop biting me. Everytime he bites me, i say no and stare him in the face. He still bites me.HELP!|||Tie a knot in a rope, they love rope toys.

QUICK FIX- tie a knot in the middle of a dish towel. .....I got the knot damp with luke warm water and not only did it distract my dog from getting rowdy but he got tired and slept ALL NIGHT. Ahh the relief. Hope it helps, best of luck!|||I would say no to hitting the dog - shouldn't be necessary. If you're playing with him and he bites, yelp "NO!" then walk away from him immediately and ignore him for a while - eventually he'll get to know that biting = end of fun. In conjunction with this, praise him for biting things he should be biting.

Toy tips: http://www.stretcher.com/stories/03/03feb17a.cfm|||You need to be very strict with your puppy. When he bites you, you must tell him no firmly and spank his nose. Simply staring at him will not work. As for a good chew toy, just get a mildly thick rope about a foot long, tie a knot at each end of it, and voila! A perfect rope bone. (My dog loves his rope bone)|||I used to freeze puppy treats in ice cubes. My puppy LOVED it! He would chew the ice and it seemed to sooth his gums and get a treat for all his efforts. Every time I would catch him chewing something he was not supposed to, I would give him an ice cube with a small treat in it.|||He needs toys. This may sound crazy but the best toy for a dog that will get large is a lawn mower tire.

They love them. Not sure what you could make that would last very long.|||For a fun puppy toy you can take a wet washcloth and put it in the freezer and when its frozen let your puppy chew on it :)|||an old sock stuffed with other old socks or polyfill -sew the opening.cheap, almost free.

The biting has to stop,a finger tap on the nose with a no might help.|||Carrots for teething puppies. Point at him, snap your fingers and say "shame" when he stops biting, praise him.|||Empty soda bottles!! they love them, maybe start with a small one for puppy. Take off the cap!!!
