What is the longest you've owned a certain toy or stuffed animal?

I was given a teddy bear the day I was born and he and I are going to be 31 in a few days, Nov. 5. What stuffed animal or toy have you owned the longest? Do you still have it? If so, why have you kept it so long?|||its a stuffed doggie doll that i had since i was born... i still hav it.(15yrs)... why did i keep it? not really sure... guess cuz i've been through so much with it ^-^|||I have the teddy bear given to me when i was like 1...that poor teddy looks like it hasbeen through heck and back...Too many memories for me to let it go...I am going to be 41 soon...|||A loooong time... I dont know it just holds too many memories. :)|||I have a baby doll that was given to my mom at the baby shower for me.

I still have it.

When I was 14 though, I put it in a suitcase in my closet.

It's still there...I just don't keep it out.|||since i was born i just keep it i love stuffed animals. It is a scooby doo stuffed animal im only 10 tho so it don count as much|||A stuffed lamb that I used to sleep with when I was little, my pink "rubber duckie" and a stuffed monkey I had since I was little.|||i have some plastic cars left from a toy ferry i had

:)

i actually still have a number of toys from when i was a kid.

:)|||I have the doll my future step-dad got for me when I was 12. I didn't know it came from him. At the time, he and my mom were involved, but I knew nothing about it. I really loved the doll so I took care of it. He passed away in 1988, so it means even more to me now, as he picked it out on his own for me, and wanted me to have something from him.|||25years I have had this doll that my parents bought me for Christmas when I was 7. At that time I told them I was to old for dolls so it remains in the box never opened, the reason it's so special because we were living in Germany at the time it was purchased and yes I still have|||I have a stuffed duck that lost one of its feet, his eyes are all scratched and worn and he's missing some stuffing. I call him Duckie (original, eh?). I'm told that I had him since I was baby, when I stole it from my sister. I've kept it because it's had so many memories for me, plus I used to never be able to sleep without it (even though in the morning it would wind up on the floor...Duckie was so abused). That duck was my friend; he would always listen and not say anything back, and he was good to catch all my tears. I love that duck...^_^|||Old stuffed animals hold all kinds of memories for me. I also got one within the first few months I was born (it was probably was bigger than me then). Now it's getting old and raggedy.|||I have a teddy bear that was over 100 years old when I got him at the age of 10. I'm 46 years old and I still have dear old Teddy. That makes me and that bear antiques...lol|||I have a little stuffed raccoon that i got, while having my first surgery and that was in 1998|||I have toys that I played with about 20 years ago..in the basement. I am not sure why I still have them. Maybe in case I had a girl?

I also have a rocking chair that was my mom's when she was 3, which was then passed on to me to use for my children. I am hoping to keep it around my future grandkids.

It is about 52 years old(it was made for her)|||i was given a white cat and green bear at birth. i still have them. they have no hair and the cat has been restuffed about 5 or 6 times. i will be 37 in 2 weeks. why did i keep it? it has sentimental value. my kids love the fact that i kept something that means so much to me. i still have 2 pieces of the blanket that i had as a child.|||I have owned a stuffed dog named P.U.P.P.Y. since I was a baby, and I am now 26. I have kept it all these years because I still sleep with it every night. It's my favorite stuffed animal.|||I was given a homemade stuffed pink giraffe by my biological parents at birth , when they put me up for adoption. Its something I've never really played with but always had on a shelf with my other millions of stuffed animals. I still have it in my hopechest and I'm 51. I also have quite the collection of dolls, some that are hard to find and are becomming or are quite the collectors items, and some that were just my favorite ones.

I guess the reason I've always kept the giraffe is because it has given me a sense of love and belonging, not abandoned . I'd love to thank my biological parents for their unselfish act of love. I couldn't have been more loved by them or my adoptive (my mom and dad) parents.|||For my first birthday my dad gave me 6 ERTL toy tractors for me to play with in a sandbox in the backyard........Ill be 31 in December and I still have all 6......they have been restored and look like they did the day I got them.......and those 6 started a collection of Farm toys that are worth a little over $85,000 now(the whole collection, not the 6 alone).......|||I'm 18 and still have a stuffed animal wolf. I keep it cuz I still like it.
