Can two toy poodles have miniature sized puppies?

My AKC registered poodle was supposedly conceived by two toy poodles, but she is HUGE! At a year and a half old she is easily 2-4 times the size of our other toy poodle and fits the AKC description of a miniature poodle, not a toy. Is this possible? Or could the sire be misrepresented by the breeder?|||What's your paperwork say? surely you have a pedigree that you can trace back a couple of generations, and look at the weights of the grandparents and such?

it's not uncommon for breeders to hang papers, how much do you trust your breeder?

Please forgive ATL- aparrently that user failed to read the question.

it is my understanding that you are questioning the size of the dog YOU own, because its dam and sire were supposedly toy sized, but your own dogs is closer to the size of a miniature.

bear in mind, too, that genetics can be fickle, and toy and miniature are not a different breed, just a different size.|||did you see both parents on site when you picked up your puppy?breeder could be selling Miniature poodles as toy poodles or the genetics just produced a larger size if you know anyone with the siblings you could try looking to see if they are also larger then a toy poodle and i would get in touch with the breeder if they are any reputable breeder they should have the dna of the parents on file with the akc you could send your dogs dna in as well to have the parentage verified it may be expensive but you would know for sure then you would have concrete evidence for the breeder if it turns out to be out of different dogs.|||poodles are all considered the same breed, despite their size.

If there are larger dogs in the pedigree, then 2 small dogs most certainly can produce a larger puppy.

I know of 2 Chinese Cresteds.. both under 10 pds, that produced an offspring that weighs 15 pds.

Is why its important to find a reputable breeder who actually researches the pedigrees.|||2 toy Poodles= toy Poodle puppies.

You shouldn't be worrying about the size of puppies.. you should be at the vet's office discussing the spay and neuter procedure.|||If they are both toys they should have toy puppies.|||maybe the was a misinterpretation
