The truth is, that most of the bird toys you see in the store are really for the owners, since the birds frequently don't like them.|||I to own a love bird and have had the same problem I just hung it out side the cage and the next day she was so curious that when I opened the cage she was all over it. I'd suggest that or just leave it in there they'll get used to it in time. or bribe them towards it by hanging some millet around it they'll risk anything to get it and soon realize its safe.|||take it out of the cage and slowly expose them to it imo. just place it within sight and over time slowly move it closer until you can try reintroducing it inside the cage.|||you may consider removing it and keeping it outside the cage at a bit of a distance they can get to know it . Or they may just not like it . So instead of additional stress , it would be best to remove.|||I'd say try smaller toys for your lovebirds. I've found lovebirds tend towards being skittish with anything large. As they learn which toys they prefer you can try to move up to slightly larger toys.|||hi,
my linnie is the same way in a couple of days he will get used to it. just leave it in there.
