Is my toy poodle puppy the right height and weight?

I just brought home a lovely little boy toy poodle on Saturday. He's 5 inch tall from feet to shoulders and weighs 1 and a half pound.

He is 7 weeks old this week. Does his weight and height sound about right for a toy at this age?

Many thanks!!|||Your vet can answer that when you take him in over the next few days. Any time you bring home a new dog, whether it is an adult or puppy, you should have him thoroughly examined by your vet. He will examine your pup's size, weight, ears, eyes and all around general health.|||He should be closer to 3 pounds unless you purchased a runt and he sounds really like a stuffed toy rather than a toy poodle no offense meant. He is rather tiny for his age and I would take him in for a vet check to make sure he is healthy and to get his puppy boosters started and get him wormed and that just might make him grow a bit faster once he is wormed. Make sure you are feeding him puppy chow four times a day and allow him to have lots of fresh water available at all times. If he has any illness you should have been given a health guarantee when you purchased your little boy from his breeder so that you can have him replaced or get your money back. Feel free to contact the poodle breeder if you have any questions about his overall health, that is what I would do. I would not like to get stuck with a puppy that has any serious health concerns.|||Toy weight: 6-9 pounds (3-4 kg.)

Toy height: Up to 10 inches (25.4 cm.)
