How much should toy fox terriers eat daily?

I was just wondering how much my toy fox terrier dog should eat daily. she is five years old and she is a little over weight.|||It depends on what you are feeding the dog. My 17 pound beagle eats just about a cup a day.... just slightly less. But she is on a high quality diet where she is getting all her nutrition. It really depends on what you feed and it's energy level. So figure around a cup give or take should be good for your dog. If it starts gaining weight then it needs to be cut back. Also feeding 2 to 3 times a day (dividing the cup into 2 to 3 parts) will also help your dog loose some weight. It keeps the metabolism going. In my house if my dogs don't eat all the food within 10 min of putting it down, it gets taken away until the next feeding.
