How do you get a toy poodle has white hairs on his chin?

hi I was wondering if it's genetic, or it does come when a puppy get older? My auntie's toy poodle boy has white hair in in his chin. Her toy poodle has bear haircut.

I'd like to know about it, becuz im planing to get a toy poodle with white hairs in hiis chin, that will make the dog look cute in my opinion ;)

thanks|||It might just be because he is aging. Poodles come in solid colors and can grey as they become older.|||may occour because of age.

Poodles are suppossed to be a solid color (some registries accept "parti" poodles which are an equal balance of white and another color, or "phantom" poodles which are black and tan)

Sometimes a pup may be mostly solid with just a small amount of white.. ussually it shows up on the underside of the neck or chest, breeders do not purposly try to get pups like this, as its not within standard.. a pup like this would be sold as a pet-puppy.

It may be hard to specifically find a pup that has a marking on its chin like you want.|||If one of the parents is a white dog and other is dark such as black or chocolate, then even at a young age you could find white hairs mixed in with other hair.

So if mother of this dog is white and father is black, and said dog came out black there could be a few white hair mixed in.

Also could you please tell me what is a bear cut. I have been breeding poodles for over 30 yrs and have never seen or heard of a Bear cut|||Look at http://petfinder.com/ and look for Toy Poodles in shelters near you, or maybe a couple hours away. The white hairs usually happen as dogs get older, like 8 or 9 years old, sometimes a little younger, so look at the older ones up for adoption. You can also google Poodle Rescues near you.|||Its generally just something that happens as they get older. Dogs show signs of aging just like we do. They get gray hair and such.|||Pita's probably got grey hair. Seen dogs as young as 3 and 4 develop grey hair on the chin.|||My dog is getting some white hairs on his face. he is almost 5.|||your dog is old
