I know it's in Minneapolis and I know it's a Lutheran school. What else can you tell me?What can you tell me about Augsburg College?
Augsburg College is a 4-year private liberal-arts college located in the heart of Minneapolis. It is, as you mentioned, a member of the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America). It offers undergraduate degrees in multiple fields (take your pic--music business, art history, political science, theater arts, computational economics...the list goes on). Augsburg also has a Master's program and, if you're an aspiring physician's assistant, one of the country's top program's for that as well.
I'm a campus tour guide, and when I ask my students who end up attending Augsburg what it was about our school that drew them in, they talk about academics and student organizations, of course, but they also almost always mention how much friendlier Augsburg seemed than other colleges they visited. We're not a stuffy bunch, but we do believe in social justice and helping each other out (whether that be fellow students, colleagues, or neighbors).
Augsburg has a thriving study abroad program and countless student organizations (Student Government, ASAC - Augsburg Student Activities Council, the Alternative Film Society, International Student Organization, Augsburg Business Organization...again, the list is endless).
For more information, I suggest you visit two places: Augsburg's main website, which can give you information about applying to or working for Augsburg College, and Augsburg's student website (named Homemade), which will help to give you a feel of what being a student at Augsburg is really like--from students' eyes.
