How do you program rocky toy truck from matchbox?

My son got rocky for x-mas and I have followed the directions and the toy still will not dance or respond to sound. It still is on demo..... Help.......How do you program rocky toy truck from matchbox?usually there is a switch to turn it on and off and most of the time you can turn it from on off and demo also taking the batteries out and puting new ones in refreshes the toy.
