I have an idea for a Christmas toy/doll, and I think it will sell. I'm not even sure how to get started. I need to have someone make a prototype, patent my invention and get 50,000 or so units made....how would I do this?? Thanks!|||Good question! If you you only have the idea you now need to relate the idea to a doll artist or doll designer who will be able to make it visible if you are not able to draft it yourself. It is in your best interest to try to make sketches of the idea so someone may be able to develop it in a more advance pattern for you.
Decide on the material you want to have your doll made from and all the things which will make it special to you, decide on the size, the skin tone, and the costume you want to see your doll in when finished. Discuss the cost of putting the prototype together, name, and the cost of copyright for your doll.
You will need to find a market for your doll before you assign it to be manufactured in large quantity. If your idea is loved by others you should have little or no problem to market it. To sell your doll you will need to promote it a lot as a new product one market.|||Wow, great!! but Christmas is coming soon, Hope your plan is done in time.
